NITRO, West Virginia -
Nitro Police were acting on a neighbors tip to locate a meth lab in Nitro Friday afternoon.
Police were at 1107 Park Avenue in Nitro where they found several meth making materials, according to authorities.
Jamie Nicole Myers, 35, was arrested and charged with operating a clandestine meth lab.
Neighbor Gary Marion said the house often looked like a "Wal-Mart Parking Lot."
"They would talk for five seconds at the fence and leave," said Marion. "That's how I knew something was going on."
Marion called newly elected Mayor Dave Casebolt to complain about the house.
Nitro Police conducted what is called a "Knock & Talk" at the residence. They noticed a strong odor, consistent with the manufacture of meth, according to a release from Patrolman H.R. Blake.
