South Charleston Rite Aid clerk attacked; suspects sought

SOUTH CHARLESTON, West Virginia -

Police are asking for help in tracking down the two men who beat up a store clerk in South Charleston.

According to police, a woman in a white t-shirt entered the Rite Aid on MacCorkle Avenue in South Charleston, followed by a guy wearing a green and blue striped shirt.

They reportedly walked out with a bottle of brandy when the store clerk went after them.

Police said the clerk and the female suspect got into fight while the guy grabbed the bottle of liquor and takes off.

South Charleston police said the woman looks like she's in her late 20s and has tattoos on her arms and neck. The guy looks a little bit younger.
