An extreme heat warning has been issued for Kanawha County from noon until 8:00 PM, with temperatures reaching 100 degrees with a heat index of 105. Kanawha County Emergency Officials are encouraging those who are still without power go to a Cooling Stations and Shelters to seek relief from the heat, and should also check on your neighbors and family members who lives by themselves.
