Governor and First Lady Tomblin gives Huntington Area food bank donations

On Friday, Governor and First Lady Tomblin presented the Huntington Area Food Bank with a portion of monetary donations during this week's food drive.

"So many individuals, businesses and organizations have opened their hearts and the checkbooks for the thousands of West Virginians affected by last week's storm, and I am grateful for their generosity," said Governor Tomblin.

" Yesterday, I had the opportunity to visit Mountaineer Food Bank and saw firsthand how the distribution process works" said First Lady Tomblin.

Food and monetary donations are being distributed to the Mountaineer and Huntington Area Food Banks to assist with recovery efforts.
