An extreme heat warning has been issued for Kanawha County until 8:00 p.m.
Temperatures could reach 100 degrees with a heat index of
105. Kanawha County Emergency Officials are encouraging those without
power to go to cooling stations and shelters
to seek relief from the heat. Please check on your neighbors and
family members who live by themselves.
