A Metro 911 dispatcher tells 13 News, the missing man was found up Kelly's Creek Road in Cedar Grove.

Police, a helicopter, and canines are searching for 58 year-old Jerry Withrow.

A Metro 911 dispatcher tells 13 News, Withrow was a passenger in a Jeep.  The SUV broke down on a hillside around 6:30 p.m. Friday in Campbell's Creek.

After leaving the SUV to find help, Withrow went missing.  

Officials found "S.O.S." written in dirt while on the search; they suspect it was written by Withrow.
