The Big Sandy Superstore Arena was filled with dogs and their owners on Sunday.
The Huntington Kennel Club hosted an American Kennel Club Dog Show on Sunday in Huntington.
The show featured more than 500 dogs.
It drew owners from several states as far away as Florida and Michigan.
The different breeds were judged in a variety of categories.
"It has been a wonderful hobby. It is a great hobby for families because there is junior showmanship. Many kids come up in dog families and compete not against the adults," said Gail Sheets, Huntington Kennel Club Vice President.
This is an annual event with a pair of shows planned for next year.
