CHARLESTON, West Virginia -
A federal judge has granted another delay in the case brought by former Massey Energy shareholders who say the coal operator lied to them to inflate its stock prices.
The group says Massey wasn't forthcoming about its safety record in the days, weeks and months leading up to the Upper Big Branch disaster in 2010, and that the shareholders didn't find out about Massey's chronic safety problems until the explosion.
