Putnam County kids experience week-long summer camp

Promise Island is a week-long camp for kids.

Each day kids at the Teays valley Church of God in Scott Depot get to participate in what's described as a Seaside Celebration and Lifeguard Lagoon.

They have fun with crafts and enjoy snacks at Coconut Cafe.

One organizer tells us, "I hope they have a good time, to get a deeper relationship with maybe the other kids here their age, the adults that are helping them. They can come and feel comfortable with the church and know that this is the place, a safe place they can come and hang out and have a good time but also they can learn more about Jesus."

Teays Valley Church of God will continue with vacation Bible School all week and each day different events is schedule.
