The recent weather has also had an effect on local farmers and produce stands.
Fresh Produce is a stand that operates in Ceredo.
They sell fruits and vegetables that are grown in Gallia County, OH.
Workers say they have lost about 25 percent of their crop for the year during the recent storms.
They say the extreme winds and hard downpours of rain damage the crops.
They say the power outages have also cut down business, because people have told them they have not been cooking at home.
"It has hurt pretty bad. It tore the farm up pretty bad. We lost a lot of beans and corn. The wind blew it over and trees blew everywhere," said worker Gary Curry.
Curry says they usually have more than one stand setup but with temperatures being in the 90s and 100s recently, they have seen fewer customers as well.
