The Nitro Police Department is accepting applications for Probationary Patrolmen. Applications will be accepted until July 20 and can be picked up at the Nitro Police Department, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Those who haven't been through Police Academy to receive their certification can still apply. Once hired, the entry level police officers will be sent to the academy for training.
The test date will be July 29.
