Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
Two people are charged with trying to rob a man of prescription pills.
According to the Cabell County Sheriff's Department, Brandon Lewis and Leann Wise got into an argument with Terry Porter over some Clonazepam pills.
Officers say the three struggled, and that Lewis stabbed Porter repeatedly in the leg and back, while Wise kicked him in the face.
The incident happened June 14.
Lewis is charged with malicious assault and attempted 1st degree robbery.
Wise is charged with assault during a felony, and accessory to 1st degree robbery.
