Thousands of workers from across the country were called to West Virginia to help restore power.
They've been working long days out in the heat, many of them miles away from home.
But one Putnam County woman is trying to bring a little bit of home out in the field with them.
Kathie Crouse has been cooking meals in her home and driving them out to the work sites.
She has served everything from pizza to hamburgers along with plenty of cold drinks.
"It makes me feel good that I am able to help them out and keep them fed and keep their energy up," Crouse said.
Crouse said other people have been helping too, either taking food and water to the workers on their own or donating supplies for her to cook the meals.
