The latest in airport security is now at Huntington's Tri-State Airport.
The airport now utilizes an advanced imaging technology unit at its checkpoint.
It can detect anything whether it is metal or not that is in someone's pocket or concealed in other ways.
The Transportation Security Administration officer manning the checkpoint will see on a screen where the item is located.
It gives the passenger better privacy because there is anonymity with the image.
The unit has been in use for about three weeks.
There are more than 700 of the units installed at 190 airports across the country.
