Huntington Goodwill selected as a finalist in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program

Goodwill Industries of KYOWVA in Huntington has been selected as one of 500 non-profit finalists in Toyota's 100 Cars for Good program. The program is an initiative to provide 100 cars to organizations over the course of 100 days. Goodwill was selected to be a finalist out of 4,000 applications nationwide.

Five non-profit organizations will be featured each day on the website that the public will vote on.  The organization with the most votes at the end of the day will receive one of six Toyota models. The public can vote for the organization they think will do the most good with the vehicle at www.100carsforgood.com.

Goodwill Industries of KYOWVA Area is hoping to win a Toyota van to transport wheelchair-bound clients and graduates of their career center to job interviews. Goodwill will be up for consideration for the website on July 14 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
