Marshall University's 15th annual Paint the Capital City Green celebration will take place on August 23 in Charleston at the Embassy Suites.
Tickets are now on sale for Thundering Herd fans to participate in one of the largest indoor pep rallys. The event begins at 6 p.m. and the formal program starts at 7 p.m.
Fans will hear from Marshall's football coach Doc Holliday, athletic director Mike Hamrick, and school President Stephen J. Kopp about this year's team. There will be a tailgate spread, entertainment by mascot Marco, the cheerleading squad, dance team, and members of the Marshall University Marching Thunder.
