For the third consecutive year, Midway Ford in Hurricane will host a stop on the Wounded Warrior Family Support Hive Five Tour.
The event will take place on Monday, July 23, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will feature a Mustang exhibition hosted by the Mustang Club of West Virginia.
According to a press release from Midway Ford, the Wounded Warrior Family Support High Five Tour began on June 25 in Council Bluffs, Iowa .It will stop across 48 states in a 2012 Mustang GT-500, known as the "Super Snake". The Mustang has stopped at Ford dealerships, military bases and auto events to thank Americans for their support of the U.S. military, all while raising money and awareness for the organization, Wounded Warriors Family Support.
Wounded Warriors Family Support selected the Mustang because the group said it considered the car as a reflection of the United States and its military. The event will allow guests to autograph the car with words of encouragement and support to the military and its veterans. People can also contribute $5 by texting "highfive" to 20222.
These donations will help build a home for injured soldier Lance Cpl. Tyler Huffman and his family. Supporters are invited to come out with banners, signs and waves to support the Wounded Warriors Family Support Mustang anywhere on the tour route. Midway Ford is located at 201 Orchard Park Road in Hurricane, W.Va. For more information, contact Midway Ford at 304-562-3315, or visit www.highfivetour.com.
