The northbound lane of I-77 near the Mahan area of Fayette County is shut down due to a tractor trailer accident. The accident is within a couple miles of the Kanawha County line.

Nitro Police are investigating a case of larceny called from Marr's Jewelry located at 1 Bank St. in Nitro around 3:15 p.m.
Sales associates at Marr's Jewelry stated that an Asian male and an Asian female entered the store and started looking at jewelry. A short time later, another unknown male entered the store and asked the sales clerk to look at something on the other side of the store. While the sales clerk was assisting the third male, she observed the Asian male and female bending over a sales case in the store. Soon after, all three suspects exited the store.
According to a press release from the Nitro Police Department, the clerk realized the suspects had stolen several pieces of jewelry from the display case. At this time, there are no other descriptions of the suspects or the stolen jewelry. Officers are investigating this incident.
