The Boggs family lost power during the first storm. They had to live without electric for almost 13 full days.
When the lights finally came back on they celebrated by running outside and thanking the crews who had made it happen.
The family lives near Interstate 79 in Clendenin. While they are not all that isolated, they waited while people as close as a half mile away saw their power restored.
But the family said they knew the crews were hard at work the whole time to get everyone's lives back to normal.
The Boggs' property suffered some damages such as fallen trees and broken doors. Now that the power has been restored they are working to make all of the needed repairs.
