CHARLESTON, West Virginia -
West Virginia Agriculture Commissioner Gus Douglass is urging farmers to report storm-related losses to their local Farm Service Agency and to keep detailed records of livestock and bee losses caused by the extreme heat or storms.
The records should include dates, numbers, cause of death and witnesses.
Congress is debating the next Farm Bill, and Douglass said there could be some assistance for farmers in the legislation.
