A 5K run/walk to benefit Marshall University's Department of Communication will take place on July 21 in Huntington.
The Jule Huffmans' Run for the Kids starts at 8 a.m. on Veteran's Memorial Boulevard. The course is 3.1 miles that will go throughout downtown Huntington.
The proceeds of the run will support the Scottish Rite Childhood Speech and Language program at Marshall. A clinical position within the Marshall Speech and Hearing Center will benefit.
