No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million

WOWK-TV and our parent company, West Virginia Media, would like to thank everyone who participated in this week's statewide food drive.
The partnership with the Governor's Office began on Wednesday, July 11 at each WV Media location across West Virginia. The drive ended Friday evening.
During the three-day event, hundreds of people showed up with donations of non-perishable food items, bottled water and monetary donations to help the Mountaineer Food Bank and the Huntington Area Food Bank.
Food pantries across West Virginia were depleted in the wake of the June 29 storm and the storms that followed in the past two weeks. The WV Media Food Drive was aimed at restocking those pantry shelves and helping state residents in need.
Members of the West Virginia National Guard helped to collect the donations at each site. Those donations are now on their way to the food banks.
Again, thank you for your generosity. If you were unable to participate in the WV Media Food Drive, please remember that local food pantries are always in need of donations.
