The northbound lane of I-77 near the Mahan area of Fayette County is shut down due to a tractor trailer accident. The accident is within a couple miles of the Kanawha County line.

People in Charleston are still dealing with toppled trees, ruined roofs, and damaged yards, after a storm blew in this past Sunday. Kanawha City was one of the hardest hit areas.
A tree fell on Grant Mason's home; he says he is speaking to his insurance company about the damage.
"We don't know what we'll do yet, until we get in and reconstruct it. We don't know what we'll do," said Mason.
Many other homes in Kanawha City had damage as well. People were out cleaning up debris Friday night; one family even had a lawn service company at their home, cutting down damaged trees.
