UPDATE

Firefighters in Putnam County believe someone intentionally set a Teays Valley home on fire early this morning.

The home is at 57 Stone Bridge Dr. in Teays Valley.

John Smoot, Chief of the Teays Valley Volunteer Fire Department, ruled the fire as suspicious.

He says a section of the home caught fire Sunday.

After firefighters put out that fire he says there were no "hot spots," and there is no other reason for the structure to catch fire other than someone setting it on fire.

The State Fire Marshal's has been called in to investigate.

A rekindled house fire brought out four fire departments this morning.

The call came into dispatch at 4:08 a.m. Firefighters responded to a fully involved structure fire at 57 Stone Bridge Dr. in Teays Valley.

Firefighters say no one was home. They say the fire was a rekindle. They had originally put out the fire Sunday.

Volunteer fire departments from Teays Valley, Hurricane, and Winfield in Putnam County were involved. The Culloden Volunteer Fire Department from Cabell County was also involved.

Firefighters are still on the scene.
