The West Virginia State Police arrested two suspects after a meth lab bust in Culloden on Monday afternoon.

Troopers arrested George Belton and an unidentified woman. Investigators said that she had just turned 18 and was on probation for crimes committed as a juvenile. That's why they're not releasing her name.

Troopers acted on a tip of illegal drug activity in the area, got a search warrant and then entered the house on 1st Street, according to state police.

They noticed a potent smell and vapors inside. Troopers said they discovered meth making materials at the mobile home and what appeared to be a working meth lab. Investigators knocked out windows in order to create ventilation inside the mobile home.

The suspects are charged with intent to operate a clandestine meth lab. More charges are pending according to state police.
