Greenbo Lake State Resort Park hosts fishing tournament for kids

If you like to fish, then Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is where you'll want to be at the end of July. The park is hosting a Junior Fishing Tournament on July 28 for ages 3-15.

Prizes will be award in each age group for the biggest fish caught and the most fish caught. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. The tournament starts at 10 a.m. and will continue until noon. There is not registration fee. Participants are not allowed to fish from a boat.

Greenbo Lake State Resort Park has a 225 acre lake for boating and fishing, tennis courts and 25 miles of trails. There is also a campground that's open April 1 through Oct. 31.
