It's hard to believe but soon students will be heading back to the classroom for a new school year.
Putnam County schools are planning a "Back To School Blast" on Monday, August 10. It's being sponsored by the Putnam County Schools Office of Federal Programs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The event will be held at the Putnam Career and Technical Center in Eleanor. Information about services, programs and supplies will be available for students and parents.
Students and parents who attend will also receive free school supplies on a first come first served basis.
