The First Stage Theatre Company kicks off its 23rd season with auditions for "Disney's The Little Mermaid, Jr.".
According to a press release, the musical is based on the Disney animated film.
Auditions will be held at the Premiere Dance Studio at 716 6th Street in Huntington on Saturday, Aug. 11, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 12 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Auditions are open to young people who will be entering grades Kindergarten through 12 this fall.
People should be ready to sing a 30-second section of the song of their choice and an accompanist will be provided.
They are also asked to wear comfortable shoes to dance in.
The show runs Oct. 23 - 28 at the Renaissance Theater in Huntington
