This Wednesday Feed The Children will deliver a tractor-trailer full of food and essentials to River Cities Harvest in Ashland.
The truck will arrive at 9 a.m. at 2516 Carter Avenue in Ashland.
The items will be distributed to families at a later date.
According to a press release, Feed The Children has been working with River Cities Harvest in the Ashland area for more than 10 years, thanks largely to the efforts of country superstar and Ashland native Naomi Judd.
The items will go to 400 recipient families who have been chosen for the event.
Each family will receive a 25-pound box of food and a 10-pound box of personal care items.
