Residents in the Clendenin area are under a boil water advisory due to a water main break.
West Virginia American Water has issued the precautionary boil water advisory for more than 500 customers on Thorofare Road from the 2000 block to Sandy Brae Golf Course.
The advisory also covers the Sandy Brae Golf Course, Harper Estates and Rolling Hills.
The water main break drain a water storage tank, and crews are working to fix it.
Customers will need to bring their water to a boil for a full minute, then let cool before drinking.
