No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
UPDATE
Power was restored a little after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning after Appalachian Power works repaired lines damaged in the storm.
Phil Moye, a spokesperson for AEP, said that the lines on Bridge Road had sustained damage after the June 29 wind storm, but had just recently gave way.
UPDATE
The Charleston Police Department has closed Bridge Road in Charleston while linemen with Appalachian Power repair utility lines in the area.
Appalachian Power reports that 1,107 customers are without power in Kanawha County.
Reports on Twitter show that some of the outages are in the Bridge Road part of Charleston. The power is estimated to be out for four hours.
