The man accused in the death of a Huntington man was back in court Monday.

Edward "Jessie" Dreyfuse was arraigned in Cabell County Circuit Court.

He is accused of beating Otis Clay with a baseball bat in April at Clay's home on Washington Ave.

Clay was put on life support because of the beating and eventually died.

Dreyfuse was originally charged with malicious wounding but those charges were changed to murder after Clay's death.

The Cabell County Prosecutor's Office says that Dreyfuse's next court appearance will be on Aug. 30.
