CHARLESTON, West Virginia -
A new initiative called "Imagine Charleston" aims to revitalize the capital city.
One group has put together the project. It will result in a 15-20 year vision for the future of Charleston.
The group met at Appalachian Power Park Tuesday afternoon to discuss how to transform the city's housing and community development.
Organizers say they're goal is to get as much input as possible, so they're holding open houses in neighborhoods all across the city.
The next meeting is scheduled for July 19th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church on 3rd Avenue.
