Sugar and Spice Pastry Shop in Sissonville opened just before the storm at the end of June that left much of the area without power.
They've only been in business about three weeks.
In that time they lost almost everything in the power outage.
Now they are back on their feet, selling all kinds of pastries and pies to the community.
"We are very community oriented," said owner Dianna Strickland. "We've donated lots up to the cooling station here in town when it was open. We also donate to the local food pantry every Thursday."
Sugar and Spice is family owned.
They also have lines of gluten free, lactose free and sugar free foods.
