A man police say sexually terrorized his children found out his fate Wednesday afternoon.
William Dale Clere, 33, of Charleston was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison with 20 years supervised probation. He will also have to register as a sexual offender for the rest of his life.
He was charged last November with two counts of sexual abuse by a parent or guardian, two counts of child abuse causing the risk of injury and one count of indecent exposure. He pleaded not guilty in February.
Police say he pushed his stepdaughter in front of traffic, ordered his stepchildren to eat feces out of the toilet and sexually abused his stepdaughter.
