CHARLESTON, West Virginia -
A storm that blew through the Charleston area just after 3 p.m. Wednesday has knocked out power in several areas for an hour.
Several businesses in the Bigley Avenue area were without power.
According to Kanawha County Manager Jennifer Sayre the storm moving through had also knocked the power out in part of Coonskin Park and at the Kanawha County Parks and Recreation Office.
She says they also lost their phone service.
There were also reports of several accidents. It isn't clear if they were weather related. No serious injuries were reported.
