Members of the Pinch Volunteer Fire Department have pulled a body from the Elk River near Pinch in Kanawha County. Officials at the scene have confirmed the discovery of a man's body and 13News reporter Jessie Shafer said crews removed the body from the water before 8 p.m. Wednesday.
The man's name is being withheld pending notification of family members.

Emergency dispatchers have sent dive teams to search a section of the Elk River in Kanawha County.
The call came in at a little after 6:30 p.m. They're looking for a man who's believed to be in the water along Walgrove Road in the Pinch area.
