LOGAN, West Virginia -
Families found themselves without power yet again after Wednesday evening's storms.
Many living in the Crooked Creek area of Logan County pulled their generators back out and started looking for ways to stay cool.
The power came back on just before noon Thursday after being off for close to 12 hours.
Residents say they are starting to worry every time it storms that they will lose power and lose the groceries they have in their refrigerators.
"Everybody around here pretty well keeps their freezers full," said Rhodaette Lambert. "People are losing hundreds of dollars worth of groceries."
Some people had also started storing ice just in case the power goes out for an extended period of time.
