Greenbo Lake Junior Fishing Tourney set for July 28

Greenbo Lake State Park has scheduled a Junior Fishing Tournament July 28 for kids ages 3-15.

Registration is free and starts at 8 a.m., according to a news release from the park.

The tournament runs from 10 a.m. until noon.

Prizes will be awarded in each age group for both the biggest and most fish caught.

The event is sponsored by Great Outdoors, Distinctive Specialtees, Evans Funeral Home, and Pressure Tech.

The lake is located on state Route 1, 18 miles north on Interstate 64 ear the Grayson exit.
