No one should be upset because no one picked the correct numbers to win the large Powerball jackpot last night. It didn't stop people from walking up to the lottery outlets to buy a chance at a multi-million
The Clay Center in Charleston is hosting family fun nights throughout the summer.
During the next weekly event on Thursday, July 26 children will have the opportunity to explore the secret powers of famous crime-fighters. Kids are encouraged to dress up like their favorite hero and get $1 off admission at what's being called "Superhero Science". The event begins at 5 p.m. and is expected to wrap up at 7:30 p.m.
Children will be able to take part in a number of activities:
Radioactive Spider Web Painting, 5 - 7 p.m.
Storm's Tornado Lab, 5 - 7 p.m.
Animal Powers, 5 - 7 p.m.
Super Cart demos, 5 - 7:30 p.m.
Magneto's Marvelous Magnets, 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.
A special film screening of "Bears" is also planned at 6 p.m. An additional film admission is required for this activity. All other activities are included with gallery admission.
