The case of former Hurricane City Council member Scott Cunningham is headed to the grand jury, according to court officials.

Cunningham was accused in June of sending a 13-year-old girl sexually explicit text messages. He was charged with soliciting a minor via computer.

Cunningham, 31, served on Hurricane City Council for about one year. He resigned earlier this month.
