Veterans will dedicate bridge to fallen Marine

The Vietnam Veterans of America Tri-State Chapter #949 will hold a ceremony dedicating the bridge on 29th street that connects with Eighth avenue.

The event takes place Saturday, July 21 at 11 a.m..

Mayor Kim Wolf and other VIPs and dignitaries will be there to honor Marine PFC Herbert Burchett who gave his life for his country at age 18 in Vietnam on May 10 1969.

The event is open to the public.
