HUNTINGTON, West Virginia -

Theater security is now a concern, after a mass shooting early Friday morning in Aurora, Colorado, during a midnight showing of 'The Dark Knight'.

The manager at Marquee Cinemas referred questions to the company's president, but did say employees don't allow large backpacks, bags, or food from outside sources into the theater due to security concerns.

She also says Pullman Square security officers patrol regularly, and that those patrols are beefed up on weekends, and during special events.

Steven Adkins of Huntington says he's not concerned about safety in Huntington, and eagerly purchased a ticket for Friday morning's 11:35 showing of the movie.

Kenny Lovejoy of Huntington says he couldn't believe that something like what happened in Colorado took place, and that he can't imagine what would motivate someone to do that.

He also says midnight showings probably make it more difficult to pick out who may be dangerous, because many people wear costumes.
