Workers met outside of Constellium Rolled Products in Ravenswood to protest the latest health care offer by the plant.

Constellium is calling the newest offer a five-year plan.

According to a company newsletter, plant officials have not announced or proposed the elimination of retiree benefits for current retirees or active employees.  Some former employees tell 13NEWS a different story.

Ron Floyd, an employee that retired less than a month ago said, "They want to take away the retirees benefits, to completely do away with them.  Plus the people inside, they want to work on theirs too."

These people say they're not going to sit back and watch these changes happen.

"We're not doing it no more [sic].  We're tired of it.  I'm tired of the rich getting rich and the middle class getting stepped on," said Ron's wife, Detra.

These employees say they are willing to stand outside of the company every day until they get the benefits they want.
