Pat White returns to WV for The Sugar Bowl Foundation's 'Gold & Blue BBQ'

People had a chance to meet some WVU Mountaineer greats and support a good cause on Friday night in Kanawha County.

The Sugar Bowl Foundation hosted it's "Gold and Blue BBQ" at St. Albans High School. The foundation is named after Baaron Lewis, a St. Albans native whose nickname was "sugar bowl." He died of cancer of cancer a couple of years ago and his son Anthony started the foundation as a way to pay tribute to his dad.

The barbeque event featured Pat White, Rasheed Marshall, Liz Repella, Danny Buggs, Shawn Davis, Ricky Sherrod and Brian Jozwiak among the special guests.

All of the proceeds raised from ticket sales were donated to the St. Albans High School girl's soccer, girl's basketball and girl's softball teams. Each program will use the funds to help with their financial needs in 2012-13.
