Three escape massive fire in a home on Walnut Street in Kanawha County
A rescue boat, fire crews, and police were called to the 2200-block of Kanawha Boulevard, after workers on a barge spotted a swimmer around 10 p.m. Sunday.
Rescue crews said they were worried about the possibility of the swimmer being pulled under the water, because of the barge. After a 20 minute search, crews spotted Timothy Bergesterom on the river bank.
He was out of the water, and told police he wanted to go for a swim.
