The Cabell County Fair is getting ready to get fully under way.
Workers were out doing last-minute preparations Monday.
People were assembling rides, setting up concession stands and displaying merchandise at booths.
Gates open at 3 p.m. Monday.
Most of the action including the rides do not start until Tuesday.
Monday features the Queen/Teen Pageant as well as the livestock judging contest at 7:30 p.m.
"It starts coming together and you start wondering if it is going to work and a lot of our participation depends on the weather. Extreme heat or thunderstorms hurt us. We are looking forward to a good year.," said Brent Johnson, Cabell County Fair President.
The Cabell County Fair continues through Saturday.
