West Virginia University's College of Business and Economics is accepted nominations through Aug. 10 for its Roll of Distinguished Alumni.

B&E graduates have been successful in a number of career areas through the U.S. and around the world, and the Roll of Distinguished Alumni honors those individuals for their work, said Jose Sartarelli, Milan Puskar Dean of the college.

"B&E has helped mold countless careers in business, academia and government," said Sartarelli. "The impact our graduates have had on the world is tremendous, and the Roll of Distinguished Alumni is a great way to celebrate the success they have had in their respective careers."

The Roll of Distinguished Alumni was created last year in conjunction with B&E's 60th anniversary celebration. Inaugural inductees last year included Joseph E. Antonini, Phyllis H. Arnold, J. Michael Bodnar, William T. Bright, Earl G. "Ken" Kendrick, William T. McLaughlin II and Fred T. Tattersall.

Nominees individuals must be B&E alumni, must be 10 years post-degree and must have distinguished themselves by success in business or life at the regional, national or international level.

"I have told countless students that I hope B&E gets to honor them in the Roll of Distinguished Alumni someday," Sartarelli said. "I remind them that the people we honored last year and will honor this year were once students just like them."
