According to witnesses, a 7-year-old child standing on Frame Street in Charleston was hit by a man driving a car.
Witnesses say the driver swerved intentionally to hit the child.
According to the child's uncle, the driver looked to be under the influence.
Family members say the child was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
