The northbound lane of I-77 near the Mahan area of Fayette County is shut down due to a tractor trailer accident. The accident is within a couple miles of the Kanawha County line.

The Lawrence County, Ohio, Sheriff's Office reported that an alligator was found in Burlington Monday evening.
They say the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a call at about 6 p.m. of a2-3-foot alligator in a ditch.
It happened on Center street on County Road 1 near Walmart.
Deputies said the Ohio Department of Natural Resources was called in to capture the alligator and it will probably give it to a zoo.
So far no one has claimed the alligator, officials said.
